"One of the most hilarious shows I've ever seen." - Vancouver Sun

Your favourite comedy bodies are back with a new show, more moves and even quicker wits. The Comic Strippers return to the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre in a show created to entertain all genders ... with no extreme nudity, just extreme hilarity.

This fictitious male stripper parody and improv comedy troupe (played by a cast of some of Canada’s best improvisational comedians) perform as four shirtless guys named Chip, wearing nothing but tight black pants and coloured bow ties. When music starts blaring, these guys start self-indulgently voguing to the beat in a sexylarious comedy show that is completely unscripted. They sing, they “dance”, they're oiled up and ready to make you laugh as they take off their shirts and take on your suggestions, creating a show just for you while constantly grooving and gyrating between scenes.

But don't think this is a ladies-only night, The Comic Strippers are for everyone - men included. Created by Canadian comic Roman Danylo, The Comic Strippers is not a show with comedians stripping; it’s improvisers playing fake male strippers putting on a comedy show. Danylo explains "If you think the idea is ridiculous, you’re not alone. It’s an explosion of ridiculousness. It’s perfect for people that don’t really want to go to a real stripper show; they just want a bit of a campy twist on that kind of a night.”

Danylo, who goes by Chip Rock, is joined by a core group of Chips played by Chris Casillan, Ken Lawson, David Milchard. It's side-splitting hilarity with shower scenes, private table scenes and a comedy dance with ping pong balls you have to see to believe!
