Jessica Mitchell opens the evening with her inviting melodies and genuine, soulful nature of her lyrical words. The country singer and songstress is a storyteller at heart. She has spent the last decade writing new music and crafting her richly unique sound, which has led her to become one of the music industry's best kept secrets. Her new tracks Don’t Love Me and Tear It Down exemplify her rich tone and with her soulful voice that grabs hold of you and pulls you in.

She has opened for Kiefer Sutherland and Royal Wood on their Canadian tours and performed at major music festivals internationally. She was nominated in 2016 for a CCMA Award for Roots Artist of the Year and has toured with country music legend, Terri Clark, Ron Sexsmith and Bonnie Raitt.
