Policies

Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable

Please confirm dates and times of the performance with the Cowichan Ticket Centre at the time of purchase. There is no admittance to the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre without a valid ticket.

Service fees are non-refundable

In-person and online service fees are not refundable. Cancelled tickets to rescheduled performances are also subject to additional service charges. Note: Payment made by cash, cheque or debit will be refunded by cheque and mailed.

Latecomers may be delayed entrance into the theatre

Patrons who arrive after the performance start time will be seated at the discretion of the Front of House Manager during a break in the performance.

Audio and / or visual recording is not permitted in the theatre

Please silence cell phones, smart watches and other noisemakers during performances. Please darken phone screens as a courtesy to other patrons.

Babes-in-arms are not permitted for adult performances

For select events without an age restriction, a complimentary “babes-in-arms” ticket will be issued. Please visit the individual event pages for more information.

Accessibility

The Cowichan Performing Arts Centre is fully wheelchair accessible

Please book wheelchair seating in advance by calling or visiting the Cowichan Ticket Centre. Please let us know when purchasing tickets if you have an attendant with whom you wish to sit. There is elevator access to the 3rd floor lobby, as well as accessible washrooms in the theatre lobby.

Induction Loop System & Hearing Devices Available

The Cowichan Performing Arts Centre has an induction loop system installed in the auditorium. Please see the “How To Connect” guide here. Alternatively, hearing assist devices are also available for patron use and can be requested by asking a staff member at arrival.

The Access 2 card is accepted for patrons with a support worker

The Access 2 card grants 1 complimentary ticket to the support worker who is assisting the patron attending the performance (one regular admission). Details on how to acquire an Access 2 card can be found here. The card must be presented at purchase. 

Guide & medically-required companion dogs are welcome

For audience safety and comfort, we ask that you inform the Cowichan Ticket Centre when booking tickets that you will be bringing a service dog.

No perfume, cologne, or other scented products

Please avoid using any scented products when attending Cowichan Performing Arts Centre events. Scented products can aggravate health problems for some people, especially those with asthma, allergies, and other medical conditions.
